Why me?

Why me God, what did I do to deserve this handicap in my life? I have asked that question to God and to my parents many times. My parents don’t know why God took away my speech and have spasms in my eyes? But God knows why, He chose me to have secondary Dystonia for a reason. I don’t think I’ll ever understand until I get to Heaven.

Are you going through a valley and maybe you are asking God why? Instead of asking “Why me?”ask “Why not me?” You might think why ask that question? When I asked “Why not me?” I looked back on my life and saw God every step of the way helping me and guiding me. I also saw my family and church family helping and loving me. Remember God has a great plan for each of our lives. We just need to trust Him.

It is so easy to ask why me? But I know that doesn’t do any good. And I know the only way to get through whatever trials come my way is by trusting in the Lord. It’s encouraging to me to know that you do the same. But even more than trusting God, you reach out to others to encourage them as well. Thank you for doing this blog; I’m sure you put a lot of time & effort into it. You are truly a blessing & inspiration to me! =)
