A Full Life Praising God!!

Someone might be reading this and be thinking, “Why a full life praising God?”I honestly can say that out of all the diseases I would pick Dystonia. Even though I can’t talk with my mouth or sometimes barely seeing where I’m going or doing. I can still hear and walk. As you know I love music, not just any music though godly music that has a message in the song. I don’t know what I would do without music Although I can’t singing words to the songs I can hum them pretty good if I say so myself!

The Bible says in Psalm 100:1-5 A Psalm of praise. Make a joyful noise unto the LORD, all ye lands.Serve the LORD with gladness: come before his presence with singing. Know ye that the LORD he is God: it is he that hath made us, and not we ourselves; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture.Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name. For the LORD is good; his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endureth to all generations.

Are you praising God through your trials?

This song is called I Will Overcome by the McRaes

When the battle that I’m fighting
Brings me to my knees
When I feel alone and stranded
And no one seems to see
I won’t let this valley steal my faith
Satan won’t have the victory
I’ll stand on the word of God
I will overcome with him

I will triumph in the trials
I will glory in the cross
I will stand upon the mountain
And walk thru the fire untouched
Though the world may rise against me
My strength is in the Lord
I will be an overcomer, for he has overcome the world.

Problems may be great
But my God is greater still
So I’ll walk out of this valley
And proclaim the Fathers will
While it feels like the end
He will open up a door
I know that I shall overcome
And be much greater than before.

I will triumph in the trials
I will glory in the cross
I will stand upon the mountain
And walk thru the fire untouched
Though the world may rise against me
My strength is in the Lord
I will be an overcomer, for he has overcome the world.

Dear Abigail, Your blog is such a blessing. God has certainly given you the gift of words! I can just imagine you as a 3-year-old before your sickness! Reading your blog I couldn’t help but think of my sister-in-law and her and my brother’s family. Karen is blind, has 5 children of which 2 are blind and married. Sarah married a man who is visually handicapped also, but not completely blind. They just had a baby boy. Steve is also blind and his wife just had their 4th child. Their first is visually handicapped, can see only very little. Steve and his wife Laurie were interviewed on the radio awhile back and you remind me of them with your love for God, dependence on Him, and your positive outlook on life. I will forward the interview they had when I get your e-mail address. I know it will be a blessing to you. You’re a blessing to me and I’m so glad we could be in your church and see you and your family again. God bless you!
