Lord,You Can

Sunday afternoon I was thinking about what’s ahead in my life in 2013 and the years to come. I want God to do great things in my life. Because without God I am nothing. The Bible says in First Corinthians 15:10, It’s by God”s grace I am where I am right now. I have been living with Dystonia day after day for 17 years this year. Then just seeking for God’s will in my life.

On Monday I remembered a very encouraging song on my iPod called, “You Can”. This song is talking about how God can erase all the fears in your life. Also how you can’t see a purpose or plan in your life but God can. Hope this song is a blessing to you.

YOU CAN
By Rodney Griffin

Sometimes I get caught up in wondering
Just when my stormy circumstance will end
Forgetting that the hand that I am holding
Is the precious hand of my all-knowing Friend
Who sees beyond the veil that I am facing
Past the unknown mysteries to come
Though I admit I can’t see where I’m heading
I’m holding to the only One Who does

Lord, You can explain all the wonders
And You can erase all the fear
You can dispel all the darkness
See a new day that’s dawning just a few miles from here
When I can’t see a purpose or plan,
Lord, You can!

Lord, I forget that You’re not limited to vision
These earthly eyes can only see so far
And I need to be reminded of my mission
To help others find the way to where You are
Not to focus on the troubles that surround me
Or on hard circumstances I may face
But to see it all as what You’re working through me
Pieces of a willing plan You’ve put in place

You can explain all the wonders
And You can erase all the fear
You can dispel all the darkness,
See a new day that’s dawning just a few miles from here
When I can’t see a purpose or plan,
Lord, You can!

Abigail, you are awesome! Your post was just what I needed to read today (my husband too!). It helps to take the stresses and fears away when we are reminded that it’s all in God’s hands and in God’s plan. Thank you! Xoxo Terri

Thank you for this timely message. Today my heart has been heavy with uncertainty and indecision, I needed encouragement. I found it here. Everyday is a day in which I can be thankful but occasionally I forget, fear grips me and I feel like a scared child separated from the protective eye of it’s mother/father. I need that comfort now, I found it here.
